Shazlina.

Shazlina is currently studying electronic music in Lasalle College of the Arts in the School of Contemporary Music. However, her passion for music started when she was 7 years old having picked up the trumpet in her primary school brass band. She continued playing the trumpet in her secondary school wind symphony until she was 17 years old.

She studied Diploma in Sonic Arts under Republic Polytechnic and that’s where she gained an interest in live sound. Her internship at Resorts World Sentosa gave her the opportunity to be a sound technician and continues to freelance with the company till today. As part of her journey in expanding and widening her musical abilities, she started singing song covers and performing during her years in polytechnic. She also released an EP for her FYP project as a vocalist and songwriter in polytechnic together with two of her classmates. However in Lasalle, she began to experiment more with her songwriting style while collaborating with some of her friends, writing lyrics and songs for her school projects and started experimenting and showcasing/performing with experimental music as well weekly for a class module.

She is planning to release an EP with the knowledge she has gathered throughout her years as a musician and performer, incorporating experimental music with her vocal abilities.
